Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive: This is a city where the pawn shops are called “collateral lenders,” and make quick loans on Mercedes and Ferraris instead of toasters. This is a city where some of the clothing stores require customers to make advance reservations to shop, and where shoppers may routinely drop $100,000 or more in a single visit to a boutique on Rodeo Drive or Wilshire Blvd. A city where the post office offers valet parking. This town’s “Sister City” is none other than Cannes, France.

Trip left late because everyone had different times to meet and different tour companies so they were not even looking for the correct bus. Apparently tour was to leave at 745. We were texted and emailed 9am???? Luckily the guide texted me at 8. We also had a shorter time as our ship was leaving early. Guide did a good job considering , ,highlights as stated were accomplished, allot of driving by stuff.

Thanks for your input. I am curious about the "different times" and "different tour companies". We are one of the only tour companies which actually, where possible, picks up our guests along the way from Long Beach into Los Angeles. Although that convenience is popular, it does involve some juggling of pick-up times. The base tour usually starts at 8:30AM. From your comments, I presume we picked up your party at the cruise ship terminal. I am glad we were able to accommodate your early return without short-changing the other guests. Your "good job considering" comment does minimize the 100 plus miles, dozens of attractions which were, in your words "accomplished". Yes...in 100 plus miles, there is "a lot of driving by stuff". Glad our driver/guide was able to do that driving for you and get you back to your ship in time. We hope to have an opportunity to server you again.

Pros: We were picked up from the port and dropped off on time at LAX with all our bags. (Six large bags) Cons: Although the driver Gabriel was nice enough, he was way too much. He constantly repeated his same stories during the seven hours. He was obsessed with celebrities and talked a lot about who was nice to him and who was not. He gave himself the title of being “opinionated” and constantly alluded to how he didn’t like the homeless population and did not like the rich people of Beverly Hills. He was negative about certain things.and about certain people. It was exhausting to listen to as his way of talking did not stop for the whole seven hours. Another group of five people in the van felt the same way as we did. Lastly, I appreciate the small business feel but I also feel that I paid way too much for our family of six and sadly none of us were impressed at all.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your comments regarding your recent tour with us. Picking-up at the cruise terminals and dropping off at LAX has long been one of our most popular services. I am curious about your "paid way too much for our family of six", however. Our rate for that service alone, without the tour, is a fraction of what our competition charges. Perhaps you did not have an opportunity to compare providers. With respect to your references to the guide's personal input. We have shared your comment with the guide. I hope to receive input from the other "group of five" who "felt the same way." Most of our guests express appreciation for our guides not just quietly driving the bus for the entirety of the tour. Again, thank you for your input and patronage.
