Loved this cruise, we had a superb trip, from the moment we were greeted on board until we disembarked. The champagne flowed throughout the journey, our server Lexie was fabulous and looked after us very well, providing orange juice so that we could make Mimosas and alternatively cranberry, Lexie was very attentive and also highlighted some of the properties on Balbao Island such as the house previously owned by John Wayne”s , she added that little extra something to our trip. The live music was very good and the choice and quality of the brunch buffet was excellent. Great time was had by all, if you are in Newport I would highly recommend it!

Fun, great view, friendly staff, good food, cruise was on time, very clean boat, bathrooms were nice, definitely recommend.

This was our first time on Hornblower, we sailed from Newport so there's a choice of 2 boats, John Wayne's and the larger one, while I was slightly disappointed we didn't get the famous Wild Goose I think it's named, the other boat was actually very comfortable and spacious, and considering the number of people on the boat, we are glad we got that one. It seemed like there were 100 people celebrating their birthday, along with one person in our party. But we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food, the friendly and very attentive staff. Everyone from the captain and first mate, to the photographer, to our server Abagail, everyone was super professional and really made our experience outstanding. We had some little toddlers in our group and the staff made their experience one to remember. Not the cheapest option, but well worth it.
