We used to live in Ft. Myers and went back to Lovers Key in May with our two young boys aged 5 and 3 to visit friends and family. We had a group of 10 with us when we launched out with Stephen Denmark as our guide. He immediately got all the young children life vests and assured them that they were going to have a blast. I was worried about how my 2 kids would be out on the water for a long period of time as we usually can't go 30 minutes without some sort of brotherly argument! My fears were quickly erased as Stephen gave my 5 year old a fishing net to help scoop up whatever he could find on the adventure as well as introducing Bowser (assistant to the captain) to them. As we went around the estuary we learned a ton of Florida history and wildlife. (We had lived in Florida for 20 years and didn't know as much as we thought we did). Stephen took us to his favorite tree and lined us up to take family photos for us on his own camera and then later sent them to us. Needless to say our entire group had a lot of fun over the course of the 3 hour tour and would absolutely recommend this tour and Stephen to anybody we encounter. The passion and wealth of knowledge that Stephen had was awesome. If there was a hall of fame for tour guides I would vote him in. Thank you Stephen and lovers key for a great excursion while on vacation with family.

Our group included 4 teenagers and 2 adults and we were all thrilled with the kayaking touring experience we had with Stephen. The kids talked for days about the things that they learned and it was the one of the highlights of our week long stay in Florida. We saw jellyfish, tarpon, many manatees, dolphins, starfish, sea urchins, crabs, many kinds of birds and more on our information packed tour. We never felt rushed and all of our questions were answered. I highly recommend this tour...we learned and saw much more than we ever would have on our own. Thanks Stephen!
