Our all time favorite eco tour! Stephen Denmark, our guide, is a native Floridian with extensive knowledge and education in the local eco systems. He is a very kind person and a great facilitator of learning. We saw many manatees, a large variety of birds, fish and sea life. This is a must do trip when visiting the Naples - Ft. Myers area. It is appropriate for families, singles, couples and older adults. 2.5 of the best hours you will ever spend on tte water!

Loved the guided Kayak Expedition we took with Steven Denmark. Stephen talked about the intricate balance that exists in Southern Florida’s mangrove habitat. The tour included information about the plants, fish, native Indians, & even the pirates that once roamed this area. Relaxing & educational experience. On the day we kayaked the manatees came to visit us as we journeyed down the Estuary . An amazing adventure.

I would strongly recommend a guided tour with KAREN to anyone!! My husband and I recently rented a tandem kayak thru Lovers Key Adventures. This was our first visit and being out of state we have very little experience. So yes, we had a rough start and made some big mistakes. We were given paddles, backrests and a map. We then drove to the canoe launch parking lot. The kayaks were stacked up on their sides so we pulled one off the pile and struggled to put the backrests on. Then dragged down to the launch. Got in and off we went. Even with a map we were not sure which way to go on the winding waterway trail. I was in the front and we could not get our kayak to go straight when both of us were paddling. I thought are we really this bad!!! We struggled with all our might for the first half hr and I said we have the kayak backwards. A group went by and their tour guide (Karen) asked if we were ok. I asked if there was anywhere close that we could beach so we could fix our problem. No, but I will help you. Let's go over to the mangroves and hang on to the overhead branches. Karen put her kayak up against ours and worked on one at a time. She had us lift up our bottoms and turned the backrests around very quickly. She was so positive, very fast and we did not even get wet. Off we went and were cruising now. We followed her group for awhile and found her to be very knowledgeable and loves what she does. Book with Karen and you will see and learn so much more and avoid our mistakes. After all that we were blown away when she greeted us on shore and got into the water and pulled our kayak out for us. She was the Angel that saved our day!!
