I visited the upper antelope few years ago. A friend of mine came visiting from overseas and the Antelopes were on her bucket list. Our 11:30am tour was sold to many groups of 10 people each group. We had people constantly in our face, breathing in our neck, our guide Amanda wasn’t telling any stories, all we heard from her all the time was you can’t take pictures here, do you have any questions, keep going. Not only it was overcrowded, for the price of almost $100 a person you are constantly being pushed to walk faster, you can’t enjoy the experience of walking through the canyon and look at or fish amazing shapes. This place has become too materialistic just because of one photo that has sold out for $6.5 mil and there is no intent to satisfy the visitors and give them a piece of history and share pride. It’s all about making money faster. It’s really such a shame! Poor experience and extremely disappointing! Also very steep stairs to get down, and then up, not kids friendly, and definitely mission impossible for handicapped people.

Dear customer,
Thanks for your feedback. Firstly, you joined Lower Antelope Canyon which is NOT Upper Antelope Canyon you mentioned in your feedback. Lower Antelope Canyon is different from Upper. It requires a moderate physical condition to visit as there are ladders in. Now both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons are very popular with crowds of guests. As for the guide you mentioned, we will file an internal investigation and make sure every guide could be at the same level of professionalism.
