What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

Beautiful canyon. Colin was a great guide and gave us pointers on pictures! The steps and step ladders were fine - I found it helpful to descend backwards, it felt more secure.

I strongly advise against purchasing tickets from *Viator website*. We booked our Antelope Canyon tour online, only to find out upon arrival that they had overcharged us by $20 per ticket compared to the on-site price. This felt like an unnecessary extra cost for the exact same experience. We sent multiple emails to inform them that Viator had guaranteed the best price, but they did not respond. If you’re planning to visit Antelope Canyon, save your money and buy tickets in person instead. You’ll get the same tour for a better price. I wouldn’t trust this website again.

Amazing. One of the most beautiful places to see in Arizona. Great tour guides, they’re happy to help and show you around and give you enough time to take pictures. The canyon itself is just breathtaking.
