Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

We had previously toured the upper canyon and had an awesome experience. This trip, however, was even more incredible. Our guide, Nathaniel, was terrific. He was fun, engaging, and very knowledgeable. The canyon is beautiful and it was a privilege to be able to walk through. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure.

Our tour guide person name was Orin yellow man, he was so cool and fun. He made our tour more memorable with his incredible photo skills. Hands down it was the most amazing experience with the most amazing tour guide person. I would rate it 1000 stars if I could!

Loved the tour! The views were spectacular and the guide was attentive, informative, and ensured we all felt safe. I will recommend to anyone. Have some cash for gratuity. If you enjoyed the experience like I did, you'll be happy to tip. Our one challenge was finding the location. We were supposed to go to the green roof building next to Ken's. Couldn't find an address and put "antelope canyon" in the GPS and ended up at another tour company. Be sure to put "lower antelope canyon" in to get to the right place. It's across the road from upper antelope canyon.
