Lower Antelope Canyon Tour Ticket

Overview
Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

The experience itself was amazing, however, I donā€™t recommend booking thru Viator as they subcontracted to a 3rd party called ā€œThunder Travelā€ and Alex charged us $5 each for ā€œtipā€... it was super sketch and we had to tip our actual tour guide again ... so moral of the story is to book directly through Dixie Ellis. Melanie (the tour guide) gets 5 stars

Karry was out tour guide & by far one of the BEST guides weā€™ve ever had. The Lower Canyon was so breathtaking, pictures canā€™t compete with being thereto experience it. There were only 4 of us in the group so Karry was able to take some phenomenal pics of the Canyon & our group with our phones. He is a great photographer & this was an unexpected pleasure for us. Karry also knew the history of the Canyon & pointed out lots of rock formations. One being the Patriots logo! Being from Maine that was pretty cool. Take this tour, itā€™s worth every moment spent there. Ask for Karry, he has our gratitude for helping to give us an amazing, unforgettable experience.
