What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

Very well organized trip. Very professional tour guide. The best tour I have ever taken. The whole experience is my highlight of my whole trip

The view is super nice but the tour is terrible. The so-called "guided" tour is more like a "take you in and take you out" tour. Basically the guide only leads you into the Canyon without telling anything. It turns out he is still a college student working as part time. Moreover, the guide rushed our group when we were taking photos yet did not seem to care when a group of young ladies were doing the same. We had better conversation with the guide in the group before us. Also, the place requires a face mask yet they charged an old couple 8 dollars for one.

It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, our tour guide is Lydell Lane. He is one of the most informative and best picture takers I have ever seen. He also really cares about his guests. Would HIGHLY recommend touring.
