What can I say? We really enjoyed the tour in the lower east side a lot! We got to do a private tour since we were the only ones. Matt was great, so informative and nice! We got to taste 8 different foods, from pastrami and bialys to pickles and knish and they were all awesome! We would really like to take another one of these tours during our next journey! If you're interested in gastronomy as we are don't hesitate to contact them. Cheers from Italy!

Last weekend, my husband and I traveled to NYC to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and booked a tour with Sidewalks of the Lower East Side. From the start, Russell was engaging, informative and attentive. He guided us through Jewish favorites, like knishes from Yonah Schimmel's and pastrami from Katz's, before taking us to nosh on donuts, bialys, pickles and dumplings. The food was varied and certainly enough for lunch! Throughout the tour, he sprinkled in bits of history and anecdotes. It was clear he loved his job and relished in guiding us through food he enjoyed as well. Additionally, there were four young couples like ourselves on the tour, visiting from across the U.S. and world. It was a great afternoon out and we'd certainly do it again. Thanks, Russell!

Lots of great tastings.... Matt our tour guide was great! We really enjoyed the tour! We stopped at about 8 different places, and some we went in and actually sat down... Katz was busy but we found a table to fit the group where we all enjoyed a little pastrami! Yum!
