Say the password through a peephole to gain entrance to a real speakeasy from the Prohibition era owned by one of the more infamous gangsters in American history. Experience one of New York's most famous neighborhoods. Learn about the gangster history and who some of the key organized crime figures were. See many of the hot spots of where to drink in the neighborhood.

Essex Street Market

See this famous market where streetcars were brought into in the 1930's by Mayor LaGuardia.

Tenement Museum

See and learn about one of the great small museums in New York City--The Lower East Side Tenement Museum. See what the 19th century tenements were like and catch a glimpse of what the living conditions offered it's residents.

Attaboy

This was named the Best Bar in the World in 2017. Stop in and see why. There's quite no bar like it in New York City. Just a classic bar and well worth stopping to enjoy a libation.

The Back Room

Step inside this 1920's speakeasy and learn it's history including who owned it and how people got inside.

What was most memorable was that no one turned up to take the tour!! We waited for an hour at the meeting point, what a complete waste of time. We were essentially conned out of our money. DONT DO THIS TOUR!!!

Myself and a group had been waiting for another tour company that ended up being a no show and we luckily ran into Aaron! He kindly let us join his tour in the middle of it and ended up saving our night. We had so much fun and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a history of prohibition relative to the area and places we visited and even had pictures to go along with the story. We all highly recommend taking his tour! :)
