What To Expect

Antelope Canyon

You have 2 choices on this tour - Antelope Canyon X or Lower Antelope Canyon. Visiting Antelope Canyon X, you’ll witness the same soaring walls and windy labyrinth paths as the popular Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon, but with one key difference – far fewer crowds. Named after the X's carved into the Navajo Sandstone created by millions of years of rainfall and wind, this 1.5 hour hiking tour begins at the Navajo Nation Reservation. After parking, you are transported in a 4×4 transport vehicle 3 miles to the mouth of Antelope Canyon X, where you then hike 100 meters into the canyon. At the bottom, Taadidiin Tour guides assist you through a tour of the first slot canyon. After the first slot canyon is complete, guides accompany you on the 200-meter walk to the second slot canyon.

Horseshoe Bend

Departing from Las Vegas, you'll head to Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona, the biggest bend of the United States! Horseshoe Bend is one of those rare places that is absolutely breathtaking, and is accessible to people of all hiking skill levels. A 1-mile hike off the highway takes you to the top of a cliff overlooking Horseshoe Bend and the Colorado River over 1,100 feet below. The views are simply stunning and definitely worth the hike! Be sure to bring water for the hike back up the hill.

Lower Antelope Canyon

This is the most famous section of Antelope Canyon! If option is selected, Visitors begin their guided Lower Antelope Canyon tour with a short 10-minute walk from the check-in booth to the entrance of the canyon. The trail leading to the entrance of Lower Antelope Canyon is composed of Navajo sandstone making the decent to the canyon entrance both rocky and sandy, for your safety and comfort we recommend closed toed shoes be worn. As you begin your 1 – 1.5-hour adventure (all-walking) with Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, your experience will span roughly 1,800 meters (1.1 miles) round trip. Upon descending down five flights of stairs (35 meters) into the largest cavern, you will begin your majestic journey through the kaleidoscope of colors naturally provided by the unique creation of Navajo Sandstone, as a result of rain, wind and erosion. The numerous echelons throughout the canyon consist of eight uniquely built ladders (with handrails) for safety.

Wahweap Overlook

After the stunning scenery of the slot canyons, you'll head back to Las Vegas, making a stop along the way at the Wahweap Overlook that has a stunning view of Lake Powell, the 2nd largest man-made lake in the U.S., and a top-rated destination for boating, fishing and sightseeing. One of the features that makes it so unique is the nearly 100 named side canyons where small streams, intermittent creeks, and tributaries feed water into the main channel of the lake.

Hello! I took this tour and although the language of the tour was English Luis, the driver and guide spoke Spanish 🙌. It was very well organized, they picked up my New York Las Vegas hotel very early (approximately 6:30 am). Since I was alone I had to sit next to the guide up front and that made the journey very comfortable. Along the way I made friends on the tour and the people and the guide helped me take photos and videos 🙏 so if you go alone don't worry, the experience is enjoyable 😉 We made a first stop to buy breakfast almost at the exit of Las Vegas and from there we went straight to Lake Powell, then to Horseshoe Bend and finally to Lower Antelope Canyon 🤩. I knew it wasn't so safe to go to the Lower section but fortunately it was possible. It was a wonderful experience! The formations are from another world. Afterwards we ate at a Subway, later we stopped at a store to use the bathroom and for snacks. And now we continue straight back to Las Vegas. Even the landscapes on the road are beautiful! I was dropped off at my hotel at approximately 8 pm. So it's definitely an all-day tour. Bring a tip or cash for the guide and the man who does a show in Lower Antelope Canyon (forget his name), of course it's optional but it's a nice touch if you liked his service 😃

Exceptional, magnificent, incredible… in short, an experience not to be missed and a must do despite the fairly early departure from Vegas and the hours of driving. Our guide was great and did his best for our comfort. The Grand Canyon is splendid, we did lower and contrary to what I had read the stairs are a little steep but accessible to all people (like climbing a ladder) and the feeling of being cramped is forgotten completely when you see the beauty of the canyon. I did this excursion with my mother who is not at all sporty and she managed to go down and up perfectly knowing that apart from the fairly steep starting stairs allowing access to the canyon (around 3/4 stairs of 20 steps) in the rest of the canyon and the visit there are only small stairs of 3/4 steps which allow you to gently go back to the surface along the tour. The tour inside lasts around 1h15/30, our guide took magnificent photos for us and always did his best so that we could be alone and fully enjoy the experience in a small group. Really go for it, it’s one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives.
