Our trip Guide, Dean, was awsome. It was my families first ever white water rafting trip and I would highly Recommend Dean and Smoky Mountain Outfitters. It was Awsome all the way around with a capital A. If I lived closer, I would go at least once a month. Or more. Fun, fun, fun and white water rapids..

We rafted on the lower Pigeon River with our 3 children. They loved it! Our guide, Kayla, was well trained. The staff was friendly and entertaining as well. Thanks for a great time on the river! Book ahead because they get busy.

My friends and I (a group of 25-35 year olds) went rafting with Nick as our guide. We went on the upper section of the Pigeon River where there are class 2, 3, and 4 rapids. It was a very fun day. Nick was knowledgable and entertaining. We all felt completely safe at all times. Nick told us stories, let us spin in circles over the smaller rapids, and gave us tips on things to do in the area. We also kayaked the lower section of the river which was fun and more exciting than a raft on the lower part. I highly recommend Nick (ask for him if you can) and if your a decent paddler or an athletic person go for the kayaks on the lower section.
