We did this float with their guide Lorhan (pronounced "Lauren")... she was a hoot! My daughters had the best time with her. She played Disney songs on her bluetooth speaker and had everybody singing along. I wouldn't say she hit every note, but she hit a lot of them! She swam with the girls and shared all kinds of interesting stuff about the mountains, the waterways, the flora, the fauna... she was really great. If you're doing this float with young kids, you can't go wrong with this company and Lorhan, in particular, will ensure a memorable and fun-filled experience!

We just finished a day outing at Rafting in the Smokies! Pros: They are very organized, activities are on time, with easy check in, and great guides! I love that my 4 year old was able to float with us and this introduced my kids (ages 4,7,&11) to floating. They all left wanting to do the upper river float. We will have to come back when all are of age! My older two loved the zipline also. They wished it crossed the river, but it was a good supplemental activity to make a day of it. My littlest enjoyed the playground and playing in the river bed below while they ziplined. Cons: The drive there is forever from PF with the current summer traffic situations. They said to allow an hour, but the directions easily took us 1.5 hours. Be prepared! We arrived just 15 mins before our time, but it was okay! We did it all. My only other complaint is they made us leave all personal belongings in the car. I asked about bringing my phone in a waterproof lanyard for photos, but it was not allowed. Youā€™d likely loose it on the higher rapids upper float, but the lower part was chill and there were many moments I wish I could have captured of my kids and the scenery.ā€¦ Including the BEAR we saw on the side of the river! Take your phone if you donā€™t want to miss those momentsā€¦. Itā€™ll be fine. I bought their photos, but there was so much more than that one spot that they took a photo I wish I had!

The guide was the best, yet the trip was not , when I booked didnā€™t know the lower river were for kids and people in their 80ā€™s, asked to be switch to the upper and they said they couldnā€™t was already booked up. The description for the trip on the internet does not explain enough, need to explain better. Wanted my sons to have a better experience, didnā€™t buy the pictures because one of my son wasnā€™t even in one picture. Bad experience except the tour guide try his best to make it fun, he even said we should of went on the upper river, and they couldnā€™t change it
