Lower Valley Tour RMNP

Overview

This is a great tour if you are focused on wildlife and a little nervous about heights! We cover all the lower valley key areas such as Sheep lakes, Alluvial Fan Waterfall, Moraine Park, and either Sprague or Bear Lake. The views are amazing and this is typically where you will find most of the wildlife. All tours are interpretive and get you to areas most people drive past. We give you plenty of time at each stop for photos and to enjoy the beauty.

This tour was our first in RMNP. What a great way to become familiar with what the park has to offer. We were able to see Elk herds, waterfalls and endless scenic opportunities. JJ was great to quiz our knowledge of plants, trees, rocks, etc. then educating us on details for each. JJ gave us ample time to explore on our own, never rushing us to the next stop. He made a point to take us to Sprague Lake, a hidden jewel that lots of people drive by on their way to Bear Lake. Short walk around the lake and if you want to learn more about nature sign up for JJ's tour. Note to JJ's mom Sherry back in Ohio. Your son is doing great so don't worry about him!

Took a 6+ mile hike to Bridal Veil Falls RMNP. John our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable so we felt very comfortable. The hike was a bit over our experience but we conquered it thanks to him!! Highly recommend!

It's hard to say what part of the tour was my favorite. The tour was great. JJ was our guide- he's awesome! He is so knowledgeable about the park and its history, and made the tour so much fun! We definitely recommend the tour, and ask for JJ! You'll have a great time!
