Lucky Bear Aurora Lodge Viewing with Photography

Overview
Our cabin is located in Skyline, one of the best aurora viewing spots in Fairbanks, perched on a towering mountaintop far from the city lights. It faces a northern valley where the aurora frequently appears. Multiple outdoor viewing platforms provide ample space for guests to take photos, ensuring everyone enjoys a private, uninterrupted experience while marveling at the northern lights.

Inside the cabin, the flames in the hearth dance joyfully, casting a warm glow on the wooden ceilings and walls, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere. With a cup of hot chocolate in hand, you can admire the graceful dance of the aurora through the large glass windows, feeling as though it’s within reach. Outside, the world is still and silent, with only the aurora sweeping across the sky. The cabin becomes a hidden sanctuary where you are at one with nature, experiencing the profound tranquility and awe of the moment.

My family and I had an amazing aurora night! The sky was filled with dancing auroras, constantly changing shapes—absolutely perfect. The cabin was warm and cozy, with a fantastic view facing right where the auroras appeared. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a magical experience!

Our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating šŸ¤— She made sure to get pictures of us and was constantly looking out for the aurora. We are glad we got to see them on our trip to Fairbanks

I loved that the lodge had a screen showing aurora movement from the camera at UA (I think)! It was also a cozy spot to wait while we waited for movement, and Stella was quick about running in to get anyone that wasn’t already outside when there was a flare. Stella also had a great eye for pointing out where to look and got great photos of us with the lights in the background.
