Na Pali Coast: destination is dependent on ocean conditions, tour may need to reroute south.
Snorkeling: is dependent on ocean condition's, if the tour is not able to snorkel there will be plenty of other highlights along the way!
Bring: towel, non-spray sunscreen, rain-jacket, cameras protected from water, and any medications, allergy/ insect protection you require.
Wear: bathing suits, light cover-up, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat. Plan on getting wet. We are a barefoot tour unless a medical condition prevents that, please inform your captain
Menu: Option of Turkey or veggie Wrap. (Please specify) Our kitchen processes nuts, gluten, and dairy. If you have any extreme allergies please come prepared with your own food.

We were super excited about this tour. We got a text the night before saying that it was cancelled due to mechanical issues. At 6PM the night before. They offered to reschedule and we said, fine, let's do Sunday. Mind you, we had planned this entire trips months in advance and we had to rearrange a ton of things, and weren't able to do some of the things plans. Anyways, we changed to Sunday. We got up super early and checked out of our hotel on the other side of the island and got there by 6:15 as it said. We checked in and waited for our Captain. He came late around 7:10 and proceeds to tell us that that Plan A - the Na Pali Coast (Which is why we came) is too windy and rough and we won't be able to make it. He said that there were 8-10 foot swells. They are going with Plan B - the South side of the island. We paid a lot to see the Na Pali Coast, not the south side so we went in to reschedule AGAIN. Oh well, rough weather right? It's not their fault, better safe than sorry. We reschedule again to Tuesday, the day we are supposed to leave. We drove up to the north side since our schedule was ruined again, and there were no 8 -10 foot swells in sight :/ We went to check into to our other hotel and talked to the concierge there. We told her what happened and she said she's had some issues with Kauai Sea Tours. She also said that a big group left her hotel that very same day with other companies and they went on their catamaran tours. They had no issues. Why did our captain cancel our tour? We didn't want to risk them cancelling on us AGAIN on Tuesday so we ended up cancelling altogether. We ended up doing a helicopter tour with Sunshine Tours and that was great. I've heard great things about Holoholo tours, captain andys, and blue Dolphin. Maybe go with them instead.

We arrived for our tour and were informed that the weather was too bad for us to go on the north side of the island and were given the option to cancel or reschedule. We had already been changed from a Friday tour to Sunday for unknown reasons (weather?) Since it was our last day on Kauai we decided to go with it. We say lots of spinner dolphins and did get a glimpse of 3 whales off in the distance. We got to see the beautiful coastline but we only stopped once to snorkel and we were in pretty deep water so we really did get to see many fish up close. There were 3 sea turtles hanging around the boat though, they were cool. The breakfast and luncheon provided were really tasty and there was more than enough for everyone to have their fill of deli sandwiches, pasta salad and cookies. The mai tai's, wine and beer was flowing after the snorkeling was done and we headed back to shore. It was a fun trip and I was happy we had perfect weather on the south side of the island. They had snorkel gear small enough for our t year old even though she got scared after going down the slide on the back of the boat. We enjoyed the trip but still would have rather seen the na pali coast.

We have done this tour many times as it is always a good time. My husband loves snorkeling off the boat in an area he would never be able to snorkel if not for this tour. Our first tour was the year we got married and the captain maneuvered the point of the catamaran we were standing on under a waterfall it is said to be good luck, I would have to agree we return annual for our Anniversary. We love Kauai,and Kauai Sea Tours.
