We had Captain Kauai lead us through the most beautiful tour of the Na Pali Coast! Of course the crew can’t control conditions, but the day we went was pretty near perfect! Unusually calm waves, and multiple breaching whales really close to our boat! The captain and crew really enhanced this gorgeous day with their excellent, cheerful service, and learning about the history and Native Hawaiian culture and mythology surrounding the Na Pali Coast from Captain Kauai was fun and informative. I can imagine that even in less perfect conditions the tour would still be a blast with these guys!! The flowing drinks and dinner really hit the spot, leading to a perfect sunset over the water. Would highly recommend checking out this nice family-owned company!

2-27-2020. Done this one before and loved it on Captain Andy’s boat . Our ticket said 60’ Catamaran dinner cruise. This time was a dinner cruise from hell on a small aluminum boat est. 30’ length, windy and high seas which soaked most the of seats. Chicken Dinner came in a 3x5 plastic tray. Not the full dinner spread as last time. Buyer beware . Remember to bring your rain gear also if have back issues be prepared to get slammed if high seas. Also had no easy access due to low tide 2.5’-3’ step down to boat and getting off same issue.

We’re sorry to hear about your trip. We have two catamarans- a 60’ ft sailing vessel that provides a buffer style dinner spread and a 40’ vessel referred to as an “express”, that offers a quicker trip to the NaPali for those who’d prefer a shorter experience. Yes, these trips are sold with a bento style lunch or dinner, again, emphasizing the shorter trip, etc. During the winter months the ocean and weather are very unpredictable. It’s so unfortunate that the day you went out ended up being choppy. Again we apologize for this. Mahalo for sharing your thoughts with us.

The ship and crew were very accommodating. We did the sunset cruise but ended up seeing a lot of whales. Fun and an amazing experience
