I am go glad we go to experience the beautiful island of Kauai on this sunset cruise. We were able to see parts of island that were not accessible to us. We loved our sunset dinner cruise aboard the Lucky Lady! The crew were super friendly and fun. We got pretty close to the cliffs of the Napali Coast and saw a beautiful sunset and even loads of dolphins! Highly recommend this cruise for a spectacular view. I also recommend that you take sea sickness meds if you’re prone to motion sickness like I am as the waves do get pretty high.

The ocean provides a different perspective on just about everything when you're on it. During this adventure, the comfortable catamaran inspires confidence in the varying wind and waves as we went around the island and experienced Kauai's ancient power and beauty. We were able to see the island from quite a ways out and then as we approached the Napali coastline, we were guided within 50 metres for a very up close and intimate look at the cliffs and shoreline. Stunning ancient walls and steeped in history, the power of the waves humbled us as we learned about the past traditions and marvelled at the island's strength. The crew inspired confidence with their professionalism and openly shared their knowledge, experience and the history that makes this trip even more special. It is fair to say that if you're expecting a "calm ocean cruise", this may not be for you. The waves and wind are spectacular and each side of the island provides its own current and wave form. The upper deck is awesome for taking in the view, while standing on dual bow points almost feels like flying over the water while the waves pass under you. We were blessed with dolphins dancing and playing along side us and enjoyed all the weather that makes the island what it is. The food was absolutely appropriate for the trip and the crew made sure we were hydrated and looked after. And, the photo memories will last a lifetime with each one reminding us of the beauty, the playfulness, the power of nature and a new reverence for the Hawaiian culture that nurtures this special place.
