We took another couple with us for the dinner cruise. The water was pretty choppy and many people got seasick. The staff handled it with grace and efficiency. There were too many people on board, so once you found a seat you were pretty much stuck there. We did see some whales so the captain stopped the boat to watch them. Otherwise, driving so fast made the waves hit harder and it wasn't an overall very fun time for me.

We agree with other reviews that itā€™s not advertised well as what to wear or the atmosphere. My husband and I thought it was a nice dinner cruise and planned to dress up. After reading reviews and when they called to confirm, I asked what we should wear and if weā€™d get wet, and they said yes and to wear bathing suits or bring a change of clothes. Clearly some people didnā€™t get that message, as they were in nice clothes, which we wouldā€™ve been too. It was a bit long in my opinion or maybe it just felt like it was forever because as a previous person stated, the captain Kauai (very nice), but talked literally the entire time. I couldnā€™t hear myself think or just enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean and the view without him rambling on and on about things. Others around us were annoyed as well. We appreciate some history and context, but we got his entire life story along with the tour. The crew was super helpful and took care of everyone the entire time. The food couldā€™ve been better, but was ok. The sunset was amazing!

If you are looking for a romantic, relaxing sunset cruise with great food and upscale atmosphere...this is not it. Iā€™m writing this review with the purpose of sparing some other couples the same confusion we had. The way this cruise was advertised was NOT how it actually went. First of all, they snorkel on these cruises every day except Friday and Sunday. Luckily we didnā€™t want to snorkel, but we went on a Friday, and half the boat showed up in swim suits and snorkel gear. We (and some others) showed up in nice dresses and button downs thinking we were going on a fancy dinner cruise..clearly everyone was very confused. Again, poorly advertised both online and in the brochure in both accords. If go into this looking for an ā€œadventureā€ cruise where you WILL get wet with a very casual atmosphere, then this is more for you. A few things to note that were NOT advertised: The captain talks the ENTIRE time into the microphone. Too much. So be ready to hear all about his family history, jokes, and lots of ā€œumsā€. Not much peace and quiet to take it all in. The ā€œ3 course mealā€ is a a few pretzels and crackers, a paper plate lunch, and a cookie. You WILL get wet. So donā€™t dress nice. We learned the hard way. All this being said, the crew was super nice and the views were breathtaking so overall enjoyable- however, it would have been much more enjoyable had we been prepared for a wet and causal ā€œadventureā€ cruise with some food and drinks, rather than the relaxing, romantic, upscale dinner cruise we were expecting.
