Overview

Sail in luxury on a 44-ft catamaran yacht! We are one of the only sailing catamaran charters in Maine, and our luxurious yacht makes for a relaxing and fun experience. Our catamaran is stable and does not bounce in waves, providing for a much more comfortable sail than other boats. The yacht boasts five different seating areas, including three dining areas and trampolines to lie on as you watch the sea ripple below you. Relax in luxury, savor the coastline, and watch for seals, whales, and bald eagles. Enjoy a romantic sunset cruise, host a cocktail party, jump off the boat into the gorgeous Saco River, or simply relax as we sail past lighthouses and lush marshland. You are welcome to bring your own food and cocktails on the boat. While we offer public tours for up to six people at a time, you can also rent out the boat for private tours, which will hold up to ten people comfortably. We are owner operated, so we take great care that every aspect of your adventure with us is flawless..

What To Expect

Wood Island Lighthouse

Captain Nils will set sail with you out of the Saco River, past the shores of the beautiful Wood Island Lighthouse, and out into the Gulf of Maine, where you will see minke whales, seals, bald eagles, and shore birds.

Old Orchard Beach

View the expansive beach and attractions of Old Orchard from the ocean, a completely different vantage point!

Biddeford Pool

View the beautiful mansions of Biddeford Pool, cruise through the harbor by a variety of sailboats and lobster boats.

Cape Porpoise

Visit the quaint fishing village of Cape Porpoise, Maine.

I sailed with Bimini Charters on a private charter in Maine. Our trip was pre-covid in 2019. Nils was a very capable Captain. We had dense morning fog and were impressed with his knowledge and navigational aids. Fortunately we had a sunny afternoon. Ashley prepared delicious meals and snacks for us. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious! The catamaran was spacious and very well maintained. We enjoyed shore excursions and swimming from the boat. They were very accommodating and met the needs of their guests onboard. They were wonderful hosts. I look forward to sailing with Bimini again next summer when they return to Maine!

We had a great experience sailing with Bimini Charters. Given COVID I was looking to book a small sailing trip with limited passengers. Bimini was just that. We sailed with 4 passengers and two crew on a large Catamaran. The boat was beautiful and we felt very safe. We had two hours of blissful sailing on a beautiful day. Could not have asked for a better trip.
