Mackinaw City Parasailing

Overview

Parasailing is a water sport in which a person is towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. The parasail is suspended from a harness that is attached to the boat, and as the boat moves, the parasailer is lifted into the air and glides through the sky.

Parasailing in the Straits Area, you can see views of the famous Mackinac Bridge, see Mackinac Island from a distance and a birds eye view of the beautiful Lake Huron.

To participate in parasailing, you do not need any special skills or training. The activity is typically supervised by trained staff who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and instruction.

Is there weight restrictions? Yes, must be at least 125lbs and combined weight for flying tandem, no more than 450lbs. Wind and water conditions may allow for changes to these per the captain.

1st time with this experience and we couldn't have had a better crew. We had Captain Joe and he was a blast. We asked to be dunked and he was great with that! Even Brin the young lady there was fantastic!! Thanks guys we loved the whole experience!

The staff were so kind and welcoming and the experience was wonderful! We have been parasailing at other locations in the past and this one was by far our favorite! We also had kids go (for the first time) who were nervous but the staff was great at talking to them about it and easing their nerves. Thanks for a great time!
