Informative and easy to follow. And the group wasn't a sea of strangers unlike a lot of other tours. Plus, projector.

Rory is a wealth of knowledge on all things Salem! My boyfriend and I definitely learned and laughed a lot. I even just bought 2 of his books that I can’t wait to read!! This tour was the highlight of our short time in Salem as it was the only thing that fully immersed us in the history of the town — beyond just the witch trials of 1692. It was also really interesting hearing Rory’s perspective on things since he himself has been a resident of Salem for quite a while. The magic lantern aspect of the tour truly helped it stand out from other options. As someone who definitely is more of a visual learner, seeing pictures as Rory was speaking helped me absorb the information much better. Also, the group size is much more intimate than most other tours I saw while in Salem, which makes for an overall more enriching experience! This tour gives you so much value for the money, and in my opinion is a can’t-miss Salem night tour.

Roy was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. He brought the history to life, and tied it wonderfully to local lore.
