The falls are an unforgettable experience in and of themselves. We really loved our tour guide Howard as well. He kept the trip moving, but enabled us to have time to see everything.

Billy was very personable and knowledgeable but seemed overly nervous. Also our tour was done in English and Spanish which meant everything, including stories, had to be repeated. This took up a considerable amount of time during the limited time with the guide. He basically walked us to Maid of the Mist then to Cave of the Winds where he departed. It’s not advertised that there is no narrative on the trolley so you’re completely reliant on the guide for it. As we walked the park we caught behind other tours and actually got quite a bit just overhearing their guides.

It was great to have someone to lead us from each destination to the next. Each part of the adventure was better than the last. We liked also having the freedom to explore on our own for the last leg of the excursion. Cave of the Winds was our favorite!
