What To Expect
1
Portland Head Light
Portland Head Light is a historic lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The light station sits on a head of land at the entrance of the primary shipping channel into Portland Harbor, which is within Casco Bay in the Gulf of Maine. Completed in 1791, it is the oldest lighthouse in Maine.
2
Halfway Rock Lighthouse
Halfway Rock Lighthouse is a lighthouse located on a barren ledge in Casco Bay, Maine.[5] The lighthouse tower, which has a height of 76 feet (23 m), and the attached ex-boathouse are all that remains, as the other buildings have been taken away in storms. The name "Halfway Rock" comes from the position of the rock which is halfway between Cape Elizabeth and Cape Small, the southwest and northeast extremities of Casco Bay, which are about 18 nautical miles (33 km) apart.

Our trip was canceled morning of. After we paid for parking and arrived there. There was no text/email sent out prior to the designated time. We paid for the excursion two days before and have yet to hear back from someone/get refunded. Called three times and left voice messages with a call back number. It’s now been a week and I had to dispute it with my bank. Very unprofessional.

The last thing we want to do is cancel a trip at the last minute, but sometimes, for safety, it's unavoidable. I'm not sure the day of your excursion, but I can promise you that everyone gets a call, a text, and an email if a tour is cancelled. This has never failed us in the past as long as the customer's contact info is correct. We also process our refunds as soon as we hear from the customer if they want to reschedule or receive a refund. Since you booked through Viator, they are actually the ones that refund you. Our booking system should talk to them and a refund should be issued. I believe this to be a Viator issue and not a NE EcoAdventures issue. Did you send a text or email for help with your refund? Our voicemail says to do that. I'm sorry, that you were cancelled but ocean activities are cancelled when it's unsafe to go.
