Our guide, Tristan, was amazing! He knows a lot about Hawaiian culture and the history of the islands. I am someone who is a little apprehensive about being in open water, but I will say he made the entire group feel safe. He was careful to point out the wildlife on the reefs and was also helpful with those who had trouble getting in and out of the kayaks. And, (Mahalo) he was able to dive to rescue some sunglasses and a snorkel mask that were accidentally dropped into the water. I highly recommend this trip! 🤙🏼

Words can not describe how truly awesome this experience was, but I’ll try.. We were greeted by a guide who pointed us to our guide-John S. John instantly made us feel comfortable and talked us through what was about to happen. Since this tour company likes to keep the groups small (our group had 9 people in it), we talked to everyone in the group. John spent the first bit giving us some kayaking tips and explaining the road map. Once we all got in the water, we went from place to place (all while John was giving us fun facts). We finally got to our snorkel area and the magic truly started. There were AT LEAST six sea turtles around us. We got to spend about 30-45 minutes snorkeling before we headed back. Do this excursion-you won’t regret it! Tips: 1-I got a little sea sick so you might want to bring/take something for that before you leave 2-there is a photo package and it is worth getting! John knows how to take amazing photos underwater. Again-this was the best part of my trip to Maui. If I get to come back-I’ll do it again.
