We are non-swimmers and novice snorkelers....A day before our original schedule, they called us and mentioned that the wind and current conditions on Sunday could be possibly hard for small kids (our younger boy is a 7yr old who is still in early stage of swim lessons) and they offered to move it to Monday where water and wind conditions is more favorable. We met at the Makena Landing Park (note: you can park at the Makena Beach parking lot but be sure to walk towards where there are trucks/vans parked with kayaks behind them. Comment for Maui Kayaks: please put a banner or a sign on all your van/truck so that we can easily find our guide). Our guide is Rama and he is awesome. The first place he brought us is a guaranteed turtle sighting because that is where turtles are getting cleaned by fishes! The second site is full of wonderful corals and rich with fishes and other marine life. This is definitely the highlight of our trip and Rama made it more comfortable for us....I highly recommend this if you consider kayaking and snorkeling at Maui! No experience required!

John was very informative and thorough in his instructions. We saw Spinner Dolphins and a lot of Green Sea Turtles. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend and do the snorkeling with John again!

Paul the owner personally took my reservation but forgot to input it in his system so we showed up with our two children at 7am to be told “Sorry” we don’t have any room for you! But if you like you can drive 40 minutes one way to our second location to take our 10:30 am tour! My review isn’t for the tour itself but for the poor professionalism that the owner displayed in handling my situation before and after. I get that mistakes happen, I work in the Hospitality field myself and in fact have a degree in it..The owner could easily have said I will send you out with one of the other 5 or 6 tour companies that were located right there on the same beach, but instead he sent his tour guide to come say we wouldn’t be able to go. Paul had you had the courtesy to take the time to speak with me about the confusion or tried to find an alternative solution my feelings for your company would be different. Stop overbooking your excursions and turning guest away once the have gotten there! Take ownership of your company’s mistakes and stop wasting people’s time on vacation!
