My wife and I went on the Makena Turtle Town Eco Adventure as kayaking was something we both wanted to do while in Maui. Our tour leader was Andres who was absolutely great. He was very personable and made the tour feel like you were going out with a friend instead of a tour guide. We were optimistic about seeing turtles, but the spot Andres took us to was better than we expected and it was a surreal experience to be swimming right next to them. Andres offers photos for an additional charge which we purchased so we could focus on the experience and not worry about our phone ending up on the ocean floor. Definitely worth the price. Would definitely recommend this tour to others and would do it again if I was in Maui again.

A morning we won't forget! John our guide was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The kayaking was relaxed and the snorkelling was amazing surrounded by turtles! Good for kids and adults alike. John made sure everything was perfect! Will definitely do it again the next time we're in Maui.

Family trip of 4. Our guide, John was outstanding. He was very personable and genuinely enjoyed being there for us. It was my 5 and 7 year olds first time snorkeling. Both of my kids were hesitant to get in. John came over and gave them positive encouragement which they ended up getting in. John pointed out where the turtles were and took 112 photos for us. My 7 year old said, "This is the best day of my life!" I'll never forget this experience and I don't think my kids will either. Thank you Makena Eco tours and especially to John. We will be back for another kayak tour!
