We have 3 young kids (10,8 and 5) and we went on the Makena kayak tour with Garret today. Garret was a very knowledgeable guide, he was great with kids and he made you feel safe. The snorkelling was amazing! Great trip!

My Husband and I were on our Honeymoon- this was one of the first things we booked in advance. John was so helpful and full of knowledge and he was full of tidbits that we never knew! He answered all of our questions in detail and really showed us a great time! The group we went with had all kinds of body types and experience levels. DO NOT mistake this for Maui Kayak Adventures, the original "MAUI KAYAKS" is a much more intimate and environmentally friendly! We saw so many beautiful sea creatures and swam/snorkeled with the mystical turtles. It was truly magical!! We loved John, and will be telling anyone going there to book an experience with the original MAUI KAYAKS! We know that John will show them a great time! This was my first time snorkeling and I picked it right up! Book this and say hi to the turtles for me!

Our family tour with John was everything we hoped for and more! Novice or expert this tour has you covered. He is safety minded and committed to you enjoying Gods beautiful creations. Started a bit slow as far as wildlife but he shared a lot of great local knowledge. Then it was on to whale sightings, manta rays, loads of turtles and holding an octopus he found. Don’t miss this experience. We drove 1 1/2 hours and WILL do it again!
