We had a party of 7 for this tour, ranging in ages from 10 to 60+. We all enjoyed the entire experience. It was awesome being in the ocean, kayaking and snorkeling. We didn’t see too many fish, but we saw several turtles and a very cool octopus! Our guide, Carlos, was fantastic. He was kind and patient. He explained everything clearly and we felt so comfortable and confident in him. Highly recommend this tour. Ask for Carlos!

Awesome trip. Carlos was an excellent guide. The kayaks were very stable and easy to get in and out of even after snorkeling. We went to 2 different areas and saw a bunch of turtles. Sooo much fun.

If you are visiting Maui and looking for an activity you will remember for years to come, look no further than Maui Kayaks. To make it truly special, you MUST request Andres as your guide. Andres is high energy, fun, engaging, accommodating to his guest's wants and needs, and takes safety very seriously. My wife was pregnant at the time, and he took extra special care helping her in and out of the kayak. He also takes great pictures, so do not second guess yourself if given the opportunity to have him take your picture. We thought Maui Kayak's Makena Turtle Town Adventure was ideal for us because it offered us a small group activity that was well-paced and fun, plus it was close to where we were staying in Wailea. Keep in mind that this is not solely a snorkeling tour; part of this trip's fun is kayaking. Andres took us to a popular spot but timed our adventure just right, so we were there before the big tour boats dropped loads of other snorkelers off and then took us to some other lesser-known spots that offered just as good aquatic environments to explore. We enjoyed this aspect as we were not fighting other people for water space and we could relax and have fun. 10/10 would recommend to friends, family, and strangers alike, and did I mention Andres is the best?
