Overview

Enjoy 5 hours in an open air bus with air conditioning, premium sound system, your choice of music, plus complimentary wine and snacks. Visit the most high end parts of Malibu and Calabasas including shops, restaurants, vineyards, and wineries. This guided tour will be a group of 4 to 12 people.

This is the only tour in the Malibu area that allows alcohol to be consumed while cruising through the most picturesque, upscale parts of Southern California!

View celebrity homes and see the lifestyles of the rich and famous in Malibu. Do a quick photoshoot at a private beach, witness the amazing marine life at Point Dume Nature Preserve, cascade 1500 feet above sea level for amazing views, and descend into the Calabasas area for wine and food. See the infamous Fox ranch where hundreds of films were made, dating back to the 1920s. You can even walk through vineyards at Calamigos Ranch.

What To Expect

Malibu Lagoon State Beach

We meet up and drop off at the beautiful Malibu Country Mart. You can arrive early to enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafes or coffee shops. You can also take a walk around the beautiful lagoon and nature preserve. When the tour returns, you can go shopping or have more food and drinks at the "highly recommended" Broadstreet Oyster Company. You can even take a short walk to the Malibu Pier.

Broad Beach

Our first stop is north of Point Dume, at this amazing private beach. This location is like no other in the world, with a view of the beautiful coastline, celebrity homes, and the Santa Monica Mountains as the backdrop. You will see surfers, boats, and friendly people as the tour guide does a quick photo shoot of you and your group.

Point Dume State Beach and Preserve

The northern tip of the Santa Monica Bay is rich in nature and heritage, but is difficult to reach for the average traveler. Cruiseline makes this location easily accessible. We will make a stop here for you to take a walk through the natural preserve over looking the beach. It is very beautiful and serene. This location provides amazing views views of Catalina Island, as you'll visit the seals inhabiting the beach down below, or an occasional dolphin swimming by.

Paradise Cove

This private beach resort is the only one of it's kind along the entire California Coast! You can legally bring your own alcohol and drink right on the beach! There is a long history dating back to the 1940's when this land was purchased by a small family, who launched boats for local fishermen. Nestled just south of Point Dume, this small cove contains it's own fishing pier, an awesome seafood restaurant, and private cabanas. It's a very festive location with amazing scenery.

Malibu Creek State Park

This is the crown jewel of the Santa Monica Mountains. Some call it "The Yosemite of Southern California". This breathtaking park consists of 8,000 acres, once owned by 20th Century Fox Studios, and later opened to the public in 1976. You will pass by and get an amazing view of this location where they once filmed TV Shows such as M.A.S.H., Dukes of Hazard, and Planet of the Apes.

Our bachelorette party (group of 7) had a fantastic time! This tour took so much stress off trying to find interesting places to go, and I got to take a break from driving/parking. We had the perfect amount of time at each location, and Gavin gave just enough commentary to be interesting but not overbearing. The constant flow of wine was also greatly appreciated! A few notes for anyone planning to book: -The bus gets VERY windy, especially in the back- not unpleasantly so, but be sure to bring something to tie your hair back with and a jacket if you get cold easily. -I was a little worried about not booking a private tour, but it was fun to chat with the other people we were with but if we’d wanted to, we could’ve just stuck with our group the whole time without issue. -The provided snacks are pretty basic, but there are stops where you can buy some great food. Definitely listen to Gavin’s recommendations! -There are bathrooms at Paradise Cove, Calamigos Ranch, and Cornell Winery & Tasting Room (based on Sept 2022 itinerary). Take a look at the itinerary for the timing if that could be a problem, but none in my group had any issues. I would 100% recommend this tour! Especially for the price, I can’t imagine getting a better experience. Thank you Gavin!

Thanks for the input! I agree and I think your comments will help future travelers. There are private tours available in the area but they are considerably more expensive. The Cruiseline is designed like an actual cruise ship, where you party with total strangers and make new friends. Also, the front seats offer a more enclosed experience, but I think the open air seats in the back are more fun. After reading your comment, I might go buy some of those rubber bands for women's hair in case some people need that. I'm really glad you had a great time. Your group was really cool. Thanks for supporting my small business. Each passenger means so much to me.

Thank you Sasi! Your group was a pleasure. The only other winery around is "Strange Family" located at the Country Mart where we begin and end the tour. It's north of Cross Creek, across from Fred Segal. They have an amazing tasting room. Hope to see you again!
