Manatee and Dolphin Kayaking Encounter

Overview
It’s an encounter unlike any other as you spend the morning floating gently in the endangered manatee’s favorite lounging spots on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. These friendly Florida herbivores just love to nuzzle, grip, and cuddle your kayak for a truly magical morning.

The kayaking adventure continues with a search for playful dolphins, often fishing actively nearby. As if beholding these majestic mammals in their element isn’t enough, you’ll likely enjoy many other Florida natives including pelicans, osprey, roseate spoonbills, horseshoe crabs, and even the occasional gator.

As visitors in the manatee’s natural habitat, you can expect to observe and study the famed Sea Cows. Keep in mind that we seek not to disturb, overwhelm, or disrupt the manatee’s natural behaviors, but rather let you experience them on their terms.

This was a great first tour. No one in the group had been on a kayak before, and Jaden made it really easy for everyone to stay involved. He was really knowledgeable and we saw quite a few manatees and dolphins. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore this areas and see some wonderful animals. Additionally this is the perfect socially distance activity that is 100% fun!

Had an amazing afternoon tour with the guide Jayden! When we (my fiance and I) arrived early, he was already there waiting and ready. We were able to start the tour early since we were the only ones scheduled for that time slot (Yay, private tour!)! Loved seeing all the bottle nose dolphins, manatees, mullet and all the different birds! Jayden was very knowledgeable on all the wild life along with the plant diversity, history of the area and NASA! Had a phenomenal time, highly recommend trying it out! Thank you again Jayden for being so professional and being a great guide! Defiantly will request you when when we bring the kids out next time!

Jayden was our guide for the day. Awesome guide with a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding eco systems and the animals within it. I highly recommend requesting Jayden as your guide. Will definitely book a trip again on out next trip to Florida.
