Manatee and Dolphin Kayaking | Haulover Canal (Titusville)

Overview
The Manatee and Dolphin kayak tour is one of our busiest kayaking trips and the #1 daytime outdoor activity in the Orlando Florida, Cocoa beach area. This location can see upward of 200+ manatee any given time so don't worry about "if" you'll see one, The question is how many will you see?! We offer you the chance to witness the Bottlenose Dolphin in the act of predation. We have a few places we frequently see dolphin preying on baitfish. It is not uncommon to witness these resident IRL Bottlenose Dolphin breech the waters surface out to their dorsal fin, LITERALLY, just feet from your S.O.T. kayak, while snapping at a Mullet in the air!! It is truly "a once in a lifetime tour" for our out of State/Country guests.

Our guide Josiah was Amazing! He did so well showing us everything he could. He was very informative and so nice. The reason for only 3 stars was because I think we launched from a different site and we were not able to see any manatee. We understand they are wild and there are never any guarantees but the company website made it seems as if that was a common occurrence to see them. The whole reason for our trip over that direction was the desire to see a manatee up close. Thankfully our guide was great and helped make up for the lack of wildlife we weren’t able to see. We were able to see one dolphin and a few sting rays during our kayak trip.

No manatees or dolphins seen. We kayaked around a couple “islands” very close to the launch site. We saw two birds and an alligator. The water was very polluted with debris from rockets. Too murky to see anything below the surface of the water.

Our guide Chance was excellent he did his best however the experience was not as presented. Wildlife I know can’t be controlled but in no way was this an up close let alone seeing any dolphins or manatees. Not sure if because this was not at the normal launch site due to construction but was disappointing overall.
