Manatee and Dolphin Kayaking | Haulover Canal (Titusville)

Overview
The Manatee and Dolphin kayak tour is one of our busiest kayaking trips and the #1 daytime outdoor activity in the Orlando Florida, Cocoa beach area. This location can see upward of 200+ manatee any given time so don't worry about "if" you'll see one, The question is how many will you see?! We offer you the chance to witness the Bottlenose Dolphin in the act of predation. We have a few places we frequently see dolphin preying on baitfish. It is not uncommon to witness these resident IRL Bottlenose Dolphin breech the waters surface out to their dorsal fin, LITERALLY, just feet from your S.O.T. kayak, while snapping at a Mullet in the air!! It is truly "a once in a lifetime tour" for our out of State/Country guests.

The water was very murky and there was just a couple of manatees left in the area so it was hard to see them. Our guide, Josiah, was really great and patient and tried his best to help us get close to them. We didn't see much at the end. On the way back, we saw a big jellyfish which we got a chance to hold and a couple of racing dolphins (for a few seconds). Josiah also told us about the lawn fertilizers' leaking into the water which affected the seagrasses and, in turn, the manatees. Coincidentally, that was mentioned in the morning news the day after.

Saw multiple manatee, at least 2-3 dolphin, jellyfish, pelican, osprey, heron. Leader patient, knowledgeable. Not overtaxing trip for seniors and disabled person in group. We’d all been kayaking before, but weren’t quite in condition to go by ourselves in unfamiliar area. This trip was perfect for our group! In fact, my husband & I had a dolphin pass right under our kayak! We had sunscreen, but our tour leader provided bug spray. She said it was hit or miss but not many bugs on our run.

Fantastic tour on the water! Chance, our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Got to see dolphins and manatees and learned a lot about the ecosystem we were traveling through. Would highly recommend!
