Manatee and Dolphin Kayaking | Haulover Canal (Titusville)

Overview
The Manatee and Dolphin kayak tour is one of our busiest kayaking trips and the #1 daytime outdoor activity in the Orlando Florida, Cocoa beach area. This location can see upward of 200+ manatee any given time so don't worry about "if" you'll see one, The question is how many will you see?! We offer you the chance to witness the Bottlenose Dolphin in the act of predation. We have a few places we frequently see dolphin preying on baitfish. It is not uncommon to witness these resident IRL Bottlenose Dolphin breech the waters surface out to their dorsal fin, LITERALLY, just feet from your S.O.T. kayak, while snapping at a Mullet in the air!! It is truly "a once in a lifetime tour" for our out of State/Country guests.

This was our first time kayaking and it won't be our last! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Josh was extremely knowledgeable and laid back which put us at ease. Obviously getting up close and personal with the manatees and dolphins was an added bonus. We will definitely book another experience the next time we are in Florida.

While our guide - "Sea Bass" was awesome, this tour did not promise what's in the title. We had a great time kayaking and it was cool (if not a bit challenging) to meander thru the mangrove trees on the kayak, we only saw a glimpse of one or two dolphins from afar. It's more of a kayaking adventure. They provided water and there was no pressure to keep up or hurry up which was nice, but I was disappointed when our guide told us he hadn't seen a manatee in a long time. It was close to where we were staying so it worked, but if you're looking to see dolphins and manatees, this isn't the tour you want.

I believe you have left your review with the wrong company ma'am. We do not have anyone here named "Sea Bass" now, or ever. However the company name can be found on your booking confirmation email. Thats too bad you didn't see any manatee up close tho. It's not often that no manatees can be seen, but it does happen. I'm sure if you reached out they would make it right! Good luck

Booked the Manager and Dolphin trip, as it was something we'd all liked the look of, before we travelled to Florida. The reserve is in a very remote place and didn't even show on our hire car Satnav......Google maps to the rescue.....well, kind of......did try to send us on a triangular circle detour at one point, but we were only a few miles away and could see the canal on the map, so ignored her for a few minutes ! VERY hot day (100°+) for our trip - make sure you take sunscreen and repellent....and a hat ! The lagoon is only a few feet deep, so don't panic, if you're a beginner in a kayak.....they are pretty stable anyway. Our guide, Josh, was excellent.....very knowledgeable and friendly. There were only the 3 of us, so it was a really relaxed atmosphere and the whole reserve is serenely quiet. The Dolphins were around in abundance, although a bit shy today, do we paddled over to the canal, where a group of inquisitive Manetee were waiting to say hello ! A truly unique and unforgettable experience. Many thanks to Josh, for a great day. We'll be back to do the bioluminescent trip, next time we visit Florida !
