Swim alongside the gentle giantson our professonally guides snorkles tours. Our tours include: full 5mm wet suits, mask, snorkel, hot chocolate, coffee, water and towel service. All our tours leave from our onsite private docks, with heated changing facility and hot showers!! This is a small-group tour of 14 travelers.

My husband and I had a great time on the snorkel interaction tour with the manatees. Steve and John were our guides and worked so hard to make sure our group had a successful manatee sighting, in spite of the fact that the day was warm for the season, so most of the manatees were further out in the gulf. They finally located a mother and her baby, and John literally took my hand and led me right over to the pair of manatee, and made sure all the members in our group had a chance to see the magnificent creatures! They then took us to a clear spring area that allowed us to see some beautiful fish and provided interesting facts on the location. Both men were fun to interact with and were truly dedicated to their job. Highly recommend this tour and if possible, go on a colder day when the manatees would be more plentiful!

First, although this review had me check family with teens, it really was family with young adults. 3 adults watched while 3 of our “kids” swam with the wild manatees. THIS TRIP WAS FANTASTIC IN EVERY WAY! It helped that nature was on our side and manatees were in the cove. Our captains, Steve Browning and Dallas King had the talent for finding them. Dallas showed the swimmers (total 7) two momma manatees with babies, one nursing. The manatees came right up to the group, curious and cute. They saw many other manatees too. Dallas filmed everything underwater and above. Beautiful clips! You can purchase the video on a cute, little manatee shaped thumb drive if you want when you’re done. Sanitized wet suits, masks, and snorkels were provided. The captains provided tons of information and tons of guidance, especially Dallas in the water. You see a lot, even if you sit on the boat and not swim. (The price is less also.) GO! DO THIS! Ask for Captain Steve and Captain Dallas; they will provide a great adventure for you!

Amazing!! Not only did we see manatees, but Plantation Adventure Center has excellent knowledgeable captains (Jon) and all the extras such as 5 mm wetsuits and hot beverages to make your manatee experience out of this world!!
