Swim alongside the gentle giantson our professonally guides snorkles tours. Our tours include: full 5mm wet suits, mask, snorkel, hot chocolate, coffee, water and towel service. All our tours leave from our onsite private docks, with heated changing facility and hot showers!! This is a small-group tour of 14 travelers.

It was a wonderful experience going snorkeling with the manatees. It was my first time and Captain Jacob and the boat driver, Christian made it a wonderful experience. This excursion was booked by a friend as we were doing a road trip, We were about 7 minutes late to the session and they were accommodating, understanding, and waited till my friends and I arrived to leave on the boat. You do not need to know how to swim. You are put into a wet suit which apparently acts as a life jacket and keeps you afloat. Since I could not swim, I did not feel safe alone in the wetsuit and was provided with a pool noodle to help me stay afloat. During a period of time, I was far from my group, so Christin came to my location and help brought me closer to the group so I would be able to see the manatees. Captain Jacob also helped in guiding me to the location and pulled me if I strayed to far from the group.

Misty and Christian made the whole experience 100% better. It was amazing seeing the manatees up close and Misty was a great guide in the water. Christian was great at navigating the waters and I don't know how they do it but they are superior at spotting manatees. You can tell that the two of them are passionate about making sure that we are there to observe the manatees and nothing more. It should always be this way when encountering wildlife even when we know they are docile creatures. The only criticism I have has nothing to do with the crew or the experience of seeing the manatees, specifically. It's about the boat. The boat is so loud and creaky that even I was a bit scared that it was going to rattle apart. As you all know, sound is magnified underwater. Can you imagine what it sounds like to a manatee? I would say try to do everything you can to keep the boat from rattling so loudly because it's frightening. The panels on the boat can be outfitted with rubber rings to keep the vibration to a minimum. Thank you all for a great tour and I'll do it again and again!

Great up close experience with the manatees! Chrissy took us to 2 huge adults and a monther and her calf. She told us many stories and fun facts about the manatees and history of the properties around Kings Bay. I highly recommend everyone to book them! Not only that but Chrissy took amazing photos of my interactions, I also recommend purchasing the photos that would come on a USB after the dive :)
