Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers.  We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted.  Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

My wife and I stopped on our way back from Key West and took the 2 hour kayak tour. Right away we loved the vibe of the shop and area. You walk right through the back of the store and you enter the water. It was definitely a nice and relaxing afternoon after a few nights in Key West. Our guide Mike was awesome and was very informative on all the different species out on the water. We saw different birds, jelly fish, crabs, nurse sharks & iguanas. It was a nice laid back time and we’ll definitely be back!

A couple of hours very well spent. it's too easy just to drive down to Key West without stopping and seeing some of the stuff the rest has to offer. This is a great set up and well managed. We took a double kayak and effortlessly paddled around the mangroves for 2 hours. Even saw a Manatee right next to our kayak! I can also recommend the little sandwich place on the same strip

Very low key relaxing kayaking on Tavernier Creek. Mike was very chill and more than willing to answer questions.
