Overview

Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers. We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted. Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

The fact that I fell in and was rescued. The whole thing was a little disappointing - we were sold this on the basis that we could see manatee and whilst I appreciate that they can be elusive I got the impression that we weren’t even looking for them. It was a gentle kayak up a river then into mangroves where I benefitted from one thing…a few bites

Sorry you weren’t able to see manatees. Our policy clearly states that we do our best to find manatees and often do but we cannot guarantee that we will see them as they are free roaming animals. Glad your rescue worked out. Good thing our guide was able to assist. Hopefully your next kayak trip lives up to your expectation.
