Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers.  We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted.  Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

This tour was fantastic and Brittany our guide was amazing, she had so much knowledge to give , obviously cared deeply about the environment and made our trip so much fun. From the minute we walked into the shop we were made welcome and felt relaxed. I was absolutely thrilled to be told there were manatees in the creek behind and I got to see them close up. This made my day, my holiday, my year. They are such beautiful, gentle creatures. The guides also pointed out a wealth of marine life in the water just at the back of the shop, there were nurse sharks, tarpon, jelly fish, parrot fish, all absolutely beautiful. Its so great to see animals in their natural habitat. Brittany took loads of pictures of the group and of some wildlife we had seen. An awesome trip that I would recommend to anyone. I'm a complete beginner at kayaking, and got on really well. Thank you so much

Brittany worked hard to ensure we saw as much sealife and birds as possible on top of taking dozens of photos of us and admonishing boaters and jet skiers they were in a no wake zone. No manatee sightings but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Check in staff was friendly, helpful and rebooked us when we discovered I’d made res for the wrong day😎

We saw manatee from the dock. Lots of birds during the trip. Learned alot about the ecosystem and flipped some jellyfish.
