Overview

Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers. We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted. Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

Our tour was with Susan and Slinky Dog. Susan was very knowledgeable, and could answer any wildlife question. We were informed wild life sightings were a hit or miss, but we saw manatee, dolphins, and sharks! Highly recommend!

Susanne was an amazing tour guide along with her adorable co-guide with paws. Susanne is very knowledgeable about the area, is very friendly, and just a wonderful human. She took us on "a less traveled" area that added a ton of laughs and yoga moves to complete the journey. I personally chose to kayak but you can also paddle. It's your choice. Susanne took lots of photos. Thank goodness she did! The challenge of paddling a kayak and trying to capture the experience via my cell phone was hilarious 😂 not recommended. Just make sure you read their recommendations of what to wear etc., the shop has some basic necessities should you forget or don't think you need it.....plan on needing it 😉 don't lose your prescription sunglasses cause you didn't want to purchase the $7 sunglasses strap! Yes I did buy the strap thankfully. Why are you still reading this.....reserve your tour!!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, we were in a group w experienced kayakers that was helpful, saw lots of fish, jelly fish, turtles and small crocodile…..
