Overview

Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers. We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted. Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

Our family of 5 kayaked through the mangroves with our awesome guide Stephen. We have never been to the Florida Keys before and my 11 year old had no experience kayaking. Stephen was patient with her and involved her in conversation so she wouldn’t feel nervous. He was extremely knowledgeable about the ecosystem around us. He had tips and suggestions on what to do while we are visiting the Keys as well. He was even thoughtful enough to capture pictures of us all together! We thoroughly enjoyed our morning, and plan on coming back during our next trip to the Keys.

We booked this as a last minute way to explore the Florida Keys, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get outside! The staff was all very helpful and made sure you had a great time. Our kayak guide was very knowledgeable and made sure to point out all of the local wildlife. At the end of our tour, she also gave us the option to continue exploring the mangroves at our own pace. We would definitely visit here again!

My husband, our 12 year old son and I had a wonderful kayak experience with Britney. She was passionate about the mangrove environment and pointing sights out. We saw a manatee and lots of different fish. We thoroughly recommend this trip - we had a ton of fun!
