Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers.  We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted.  Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

My family and I went on an excellent and exciting adventure with our tour guide Britney! She was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. She took wonderful pictures and videos of the wildlife and us. I would 100% recommend her again! This is a great family friendly expedition. We were very satisfied.

Loved going through the mangroves. It was peaceful. Our guide Stephen was great too. I loved his passion for what he does. It was just a nice couple of hours seeing the Keys in a different way.

The woman that checked us in didn’t give a very good initial impression, she was harsh and seemed a bit rude. She was a mask Nazi. The experience when we finally got going was great fun and interesting. The woman guide (Eastern European accent) was knowledgeable and fun to be around. If you go, just past the front desk and you will be fine.

thanks for coming to visit us and thanks for leaving a review. we are exposed to more than 100 people per day here at the shop and have managed to not contact the virus yet and a good part of that is due to our diligence in following mask protocol. I'm sorry if this came across as not friendly but it has been a year and we are still dealing with this on a daily basis. we'll continue to stress our safety protocol for the health of our employees, our customers, and the health of our business (we really don't want to shut down for something that we can prevent). Please accept my apology if we came across as rude. It isn't our intention but sometimes during this tourism high season when there are more than 100 people a day coming through the door, we must be a little more direct in our communication. Our doors all have signage that indicates our policy clearly.
