We were visiting from Alberta, Canada, where we are used to warm and dry. It was a hot and humid day, but it was still a wonderful experience and has become a highlight of our trip! There was plenty of shade under the roadways by the waterfront, under the trees, and also a breeze. The only hard part was the incline of both bridges, with plenty of easier riding throughout the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn. We felt safe on the roads. We were a party of 7, who joined a part of 2. Great communication prior to arrival, even despite our attempts of trying to arrive early, (1/2 hr is recommended) they were very accommodating. While on the tour, we would stop for picture opportunities and talk about historical sites. Depending how close you were to the guide depended on how well you could hear, some points it was easier to gather in a circle. I like how this company offered 6 types of tours based on time. I wasnā€™t too keen on this one, as I wasnā€™t sure about how hard the bridges would of been, and the only hard part was going up the incline in the heat. I would have also enjoyed another choice in a two hour window that showed more of just Manhattan or just of Brooklyn. This tour was neat that it did show both sides of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Two guides one in front the other at the end. You wonā€™t be disappointed!

You were a great group and great family.... I've never had so many others show up to a tour to "give family support" before a ride... you would think that you guys were being shipped off to serve in the military. ...i was thinking to myself "it's just a two hour ride"... I had a blast and thank you for such a great review.

Riding with Brooklyn Giro was the highlight of my vacation in NYC. I went on two tours--the Brooklyn Tour and the Manhattan & Central Park Tour. Brooklyn Tour: This was the first tour I had with Brooklyn Giro, and it exceeded any expectations I could have had. The bikes were great, our pace was comfortable, and we saw/learned about so much of Brooklyn! And, our tour guide, Dana, was pretty awesome. She was full of interesting information and also very clearly an experienced cyclist in the city. Whether it was yelling at dangerous drivers or showing us the best way to make turns, she really made you feel comfortable on the road. I also really enjoyed the pit stop at Raaka Chocolate--it was the perfect break for a hot day of riding, and their unique flavors of chocolate were fun to try. Manhattan & Central Park Tour: This tour was similarly awesome. We road by all of the big name buildings/attractions, and it was pretty exhilarating to bike through some of the crowded streets in Manhattan (itā€™s definitely not an experience available at my home town). Our tour guide this time was John, and he was just as great to ride with as Dana. No matter how hectic the road seemed to be, it was easy to feel safe with John leading the way. We even stopped by the pizza place where Spiderman worked towards the end of our trip. The pizza was great, and it was an unexpected fun addition to the tour. Even though both tours covered a lot of distance, they seemed to go by in a flash. If Iā€™m ever back in NYC, Iā€™ll definitely be booking more tours with Brooklyn Giro.

We did a 9am Bridges tour. We were visiting from Melbourne, Australia as part of my sisters 40th birthday. The ride was easy and very informative. It was great being out on a gorgeous spring day cycling over the bridges and around Brooklyn. Would very happily book more tours on future trips. Thanks
