We did the 4 hours tour around Mahatten - ca. 25 miles. The tour guide told us at the beginning that this tour was mainly biking and we wouldn't stop much. This was not clear when booking the tour.Indeed we drove the 7 miles along the East River without stopping once. Some of the participants were quite exhausted afterwards. The information the tour guide gave were very simple and we could have read that in the Internet as well (nothing out of daily life or surprising facts only historic facts). Also he quickly talked at a traffic light and stopped in the middle of the sentence when the light turned to green. We booked the tour to bike AND get some inside views of New York (and we experienced a very good one a few years ago and in other big cities as well). This has been a very disapointing tour regarding this - as a tourist you would like to get to know the city as well.We would suggest that you rather extend the tour to e.g. 5 hours and take a bit more money than giving only little and hectic information.

Thanks John! We had just a short time but John was very accommodating to get us in for a late afternoon two-hour tour on a beautiful day! My daughter & I enjoyed it immensely, it was her first time in Brooklyn. Great ride on the bridges (beautiful views!) and through the streets on Manhattan & Brooklyn. Perfect afternoon... excellent bikes, guide & route!

We were visiting from Alberta, Canada, where we are used to warm and dry. It was a hot and humid day, but it was still a wonderful experience and has become a highlight of our trip! There was plenty of shade under the roadways by the waterfront, under the trees, and also a breeze. The only hard part was the incline of both bridges, with plenty of easier riding throughout the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn. We felt safe on the roads. We were a party of 7, who joined a part of 2. Great communication prior to arrival, even despite our attempts of trying to arrive early, (1/2 hr is recommended) they were very accommodating. While on the tour, we would stop for picture opportunities and talk about historical sites. Depending how close you were to the guide depended on how well you could hear, some points it was easier to gather in a circle. I like how this company offered 6 types of tours based on time. I wasn’t too keen on this one, as I wasn’t sure about how hard the bridges would of been, and the only hard part was going up the incline in the heat. I would have also enjoyed another choice in a two hour window that showed more of just Manhattan or just of Brooklyn. This tour was neat that it did show both sides of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Two guides one in front the other at the end. You won’t be disappointed!

You were a great group and great family.... I've never had so many others show up to a tour to "give family support" before a ride... you would think that you guys were being shipped off to serve in the military. ...i was thinking to myself "it's just a two hour ride"... I had a blast and thank you for such a great review.
