I was a bit hesitant because I don't consider myself a bike pro, but the tour guide guy was awesome, he made the complete ride safe and easy. I followed the instructions of the arrival time and location and didn't have a problem to get to the meeting place. The best part of the tour are the views! The bridges where amazing to cross and since I made the tour in January, there wasn't a problem with crowded spaces. It is also interesting because they give you historical information on both Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. I highly recommend it, I usually don't write reviews but since I saw one only that convinced me to take this tour, I wanted to do the same. Don't miss out! Price worthy, all bikes are well maintained and mine had new breaks!!

Highly recommend this tour. Seth was amazing guide! He took us over the Manhattan bridge which was a little challenging getting up. But once there the rest of the tour was delightful. He was very considerate and informative.

We have done several bike tours over the years. So, it was not the first time. Bike quality was great. However, I would suggest the Tour Leader spend a few minutes instructing those who don't ride often how to use the gears and brakes. I feel having a procedure for stopping at lights would also have helped some of the group. I am unsure if riding through red lights is legal here in a bike lane. We found getting to the bike storage facility pretty easy. Manhattan Bridge was a great ride, however I would like to see the guide spend more time describing the sights. For many on this tour this is the first and maybe only time they will see the sights or have the experience.I particularly enjoyed the Brooklyn section of the ride. I believe Robbie our guide had done the tour earlier, was he maybe tired of bored? I got the impression he was in a hurry to finish. I understand that it is a difficult job, and dealing with lots of people with varying abilities! If you have never ridden in NYC this is an excellent way of getting out and about. You cover lots of ground in a relatively short time. However, I would enjoyed a more engaging guide. I get it that this is all a subjective opinion, however, I have participated in a fair number of rides in several cities in the world from Singapore to Barcelona. It is the 5th time I have ridden in NYC but probably the least enjoyable. First time, that I am aware with giro tours .
