Peter was a great guide. He was patient with my family. He was knowledgeable about the trail and history of the trail. He was super awesome! If he reads this, thank you from the Arizona Family!

Apparently the day we were supposed to do our Manoa Falls hike, the trail was closed for cleanup and improvement for safer future hikes. So our tour guide, Kawika Carlson, contacted us the day before our scheduled time to suggest a Makiki Valley rainforest tour instead. We wanted an adventure in a natural environment so we agreed regardless, and we were not disappointed! The trail was 2.5 miles with elevation, approximately 1.5 hours. Kawika brought water and snacks for us and even picked up/dropped off at our hotel as there was only our 3 person group on the tour. It was super convenient as we might not have found the new location very easily on our own. Kawika was very knowledgeable about the trail itself and the surrounding ecosystem. He even informed us of all the professional races that took place there. We went at a relatively brisk pace but it was the perfect start to our physical day. Definitely suggest this tour!

The waterfall trail ended up being closed; however, we took another trail that was spectacular! Our guide, Kawika was awesome! He was very patient with us and pointed out the local plants and trees.
