Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Relax on the observation deck with unobstructed viewing and plenty of room to move around. All snorkel equipment, including flotation devices and wetsuits, is included.

Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

Boat ride was the smoothest I’ve ever been on! They have snacks for you and are friendly! They give you 40 minutes to swim with the Manta Rays, they provide gear for you. Water will get cold just beware. We got to see the sunset on the first tour available. We saw to Manta Rays, you have to give them time to swim around and back for you to see them! You need to know how to swim, you will be swimming on your own from and to the boat in and out! Great, wonderful experience!!! Definitely recommend!!!

First time in the ocean ever and was really nervous but everything went so smoothly and was so beautiful that I felt right at ease and am really glad we did it. Loved the crew!!

Definitely recommend this excursion! We saw easily over ten manta rays and they kept coming back putting on a show doing flips in the water! They came so close to us and we’re very cool to see. I would do this again easily!
