Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Relax on the observation deck with unobstructed viewing and plenty of room to move around. All snorkel equipment, including flotation devices and wetsuits, is included.

Please note the departure time throughout the year adjusts to the sunsetting sky. Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

Very good excursion. Staff was very good and helpful. We were lucky and there were so many manta rays. Just make sure if you have motion sickness that you bring medicine

Manta rays are so close!!! I could see inside the manta ray’s mouth and gills clearly! It was really awesome and fun!!!

We’ve never done this before , and this was absolutely breathtaking. Manta rays were almost touching us … they touched a young boy next to us a couple times . We spent about 30 minutes in the water and were seeing them for a lot of this time … maybe 3-4 big manta rays swimming right under us and dancing / turning . If you get cold easily I’d recommend a wet suit since it’s night time (but not required ).
