Overview

Ensure a manta ray sighting on this 2.5-hour night tour. Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Relax on the observation deck with unobstructed viewing and plenty of room to move around. All snorkel equipment, including swimming noodles and wetsuits are included.

Please note the departure time throughout the year adjusts to the sunsetting sky. Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.
Must know how to swim to participate.

This experience was really well worth it! We saw the manta rays as promised as there is a specific location where most of them tend to gather and the divers have a process that can lead them so they can concentrate more at a specific location for everyone to see them. There are other boats in the area doing the same service but fortunately the staff in the one we selected are very accommodating and they make sure everyone participating in snorkeling is safe and comfortable. This is truly one of the highlights of our Hawaii trip.

Late night trip is the best. Staff are great and the experience is one not to be missed. Arrive 30 min before departure. Quick 30 min ride out. 30 min in the water. Would do it again.

One of the best experiences we had during our stay in Hawaii was with Martina and her Manta Ray Snorkeling tour. We always felt comfortable, safe and in good hands - from the individual selection of snorkeling equipment so that the mask fits everyone correctly, to the meeting with the manta rays. The snorkeling equipment was of very high quality and fitted very well so that there were no problems during the tour in the water. It's just great to snorkel directly from the beach and then see the animals in the water just a few meters later. So easy, so comfortable and enviromental friendly. We were lucky enough to see four different manta rays that swam incredibly close to us. But don't worry, Martina always communicates with you and if you are afraid or don't want the animals so close to you, she will of course take this into account. We highly recommend this incredible activity! It is worth every dollar!
